Having worked for DHP Family for 15 years Ben has helped the careers of dozens of artists and has been involved in hundreds of events nationally including multi-award winning, multi-venue festival Dot to Dot; appreciating the hard work and determination that goes into helping to develop the live story of acts to get from 80 capacity to 3,500 capacity and beyond.
Carol is a specialist Music/Creative Industries lawyer based in Manchester. She set up as a legal and business affairs consultant in 2019 after working in private practice for 10+ years. Her clients include musicians, music managers, producers and independent record labels and publishers.
Carol is regular speaker at music industry events including Liverpool Sound City and FAC/CMU events, she has been the legal representative at MMF induction days and has lectured on music law at BIMM and LIPA. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Carol was the lead singer and a songwriter in a signed band.
Director of Fat Penguin Management, managing artists, producers and providing consultancy advice in the music industry. Currently managing: Joe Dolman/Emma McGann/Matthew Cotterill - Producer and Elliot Vaughan - Producer. Chris also runs the Music Managers Forum Birmingham Tribes Networking Nights and is the founder and organiser of Pivotal Music Conference.
Based in Manchester, Daniel Jones is PRS for Music’s Outreach Manager for the North of England. His role is to engage with music educators, organisations, professionals, songwriters, composers and publishers in order to raise awareness and a better understanding of PRS for Music.
Born and bred in Stoke-on-Trent, Danni began working at The Sugarmill back in 2006 when at university. She began working on the live side of the business in 2009, eventually becoming the lead booker in 2012.
Darren is the head of Digital Advertising for Hold Tight PR. Specialising predominantly in video campaigns for independent bands and record labels using social media, Darren is also the lead guitarist in Chapter and Verse and has been touring the UK and playing shows since 2012.
Joel joined the Artist Services team in Oct 2019. Joel’s role is pivotal to Sentric’s 28 day publishing deal, working with songwriters to educate them on the value of publishing income. He works with the existing artists to make sure they are getting the most from their Sentric account, guiding writers to tap into various revenue streams and ultimately working towards the goal of enabling artists to make music their full time career.
From 19-year-old poster design intern to a vital member of the Scruff of the Neck Live Development team, Rich embodies the ethos of the company - to build and break acts through live. Rich sees the importance of a carefully planned live strategy when developing an up and coming act, most evident in the successes achieved with Sheffield band The Reytons.
Rich has been a full-time professional musician, an electronic music composer and has experience managing artists, booking tours across the UK and Ireland and running digital marketing for music businesses and musicians.
Over the last 25 years Scott has written, produced and played for artists such as Robbie Williams, Michael Buble, Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Tom Jones, Take That, Franz Ferdinand, Alvin Stardust, Englebert Humperdink and many more working closely with and been signed to companies such as EMI and Nottinghill Music.
Chris specialises in digital marketing, social media strategy, and brand partnerships, and also assists in covering online and print PR for our unsigned and developing artists. Based in the East Midlands, Chris got his start as a hired pen for some of our favourite specialist music sites including Shout4Music, Punktastic & Bring The Noise. After studying music at the University of Middlesex, Chris returned home to work in a digital marketing role at a commercial PR agency and moonlight as a freelance publicist for various punk bands and record labels, as well as playing bass in touring indie punk outfit Bad Ideas. Chris teamed up with Wall of Sound in January 2017 and launched our new digital marketing services in 2019.
